Description
A postal fluke egg test kit for sheep, cattle and goats.
The test uses sedimentation to find liver fluke and rumen fluke eggs in faeces. Fluke eggs are only shed by adult flukes and are shed intermittently, so a negative result does not rule out fluke. Speak to your vet if you suspect acute fluke in autumn.
How it works: collect fresh faeces from several animals in the same group using the spoon provided, put them in the sample pot, fill in the label and post the kit back to us the same day. Try to post Monday to Wednesday. Results appear in your account within 24 to 48 hours of the lab receiving your sample. Use one kit for each group of animals.
